Forgive me if I’m completely off base here, but does Wii fishing involve a lot of sitting around? My experience with fishing is that it’s a time-consuming process. It involves worms. When you catch something, it involves a bit of blood even if you’re not the lucky one on fillet detail. I’ve always found it disturbing to fish. I like the idea of sitting in a boat for most of the day and I like eating fish. But fishing on the Wii wouldn’t actually meet either of those requirements.
I also doubt it would be much of a cardio workout. Yet here (and below) is the product description on Amazon (emphasis mine):
